QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE To Perform Entire First Album On Upcoming Tour
February 12, 2011QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE has confirmed via its Facebook page that it will embark on a run of club shows during which it will perform its critically-lauded 1998 self-titled debut in its entirety along with some B-sides and rarities. The exact cities and dates will be announced on Monday, February 14.
"Queens Of The Stone Age" will be reissued on March 1 via Joshua Homme's own Rekords Rekords. The effort will be made available as a special bundled package featuring the album both as a 180-gram, double-gatefold, double LP and a digital download card. The reissue has been fully remastered from the original tapes and has been expanded by three tracks: "The Bronze" and "These Aren't The Droids You're Looking For" — from the 1998 split EP — and "Spiders And Vinegaroons", which was part of the posthumous KYUSS/QOTSA split EP.
